Course Overview

Learning and Development professionals are expected to make critical decisions about capability building, training investments, and employee development. Yet many teams still rely on disconnected spreadsheets, attendance reports, and intuition when evaluating the effectiveness of their initiatives.

As a result:

• Training programs are delivered, but their impact is difficult to demonstrate.
• Individual Development Plans (IDPs) are created, but rarely influence learning decisions.
• Participation is tracked, but development progress remains unclear.
• Leaders ask for insights, but L&D often has data without a system.

Data-Driven Development is a highly practical, hands-on Excel workshop designed specifically for Learning and Development practitioners. Participants will learn how to build a simple yet powerful Excel-based system that connects learning needs, training programs, participation data, development plans, and decision-making.

Rather than focusing on advanced formulas or complex analytics, this program emphasizes the practical application of Excel to help L&D professionals make development initiatives more visible, measurable, and actionable.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have built a complete L&D tracking and reporting system that they can immediately adapt and implement in their own organizations.
